Harry Potter for the Holidays!

An acquaintance of mine asked me to make a dozen Harry Potter themed cookies, as she was having difficulty coming up with a gift idea for a friend of her's.  Here is the finished product:

Let It Snow...

If you're in northeast Ohio, chances are you've spent the week digging out of several inches, or feet, of snow.  The last thing you want to see are snowflakes... unless they're the sweet & sugary kind!

Why shovel the snow when you can eat it!

'Tis the season!

Kids like sea life

Another 'Under The Sea' birthday order, this time only starfish & seahorses done in blue, lime green, yellow and a little bit of pink.  As always, so much fun to make.

A 'fishy' 5th birthday

This set was made for twin 5 year old girls' birthday, and I have to admit these 'fish' cookies are some of my favorite to create.

Fundraisers

My father is a retired Cleveland firefighter and has been working to get a fire museum built in Cleveland.  This past week, they had a fundraiser at Cleats and needed some cookies to go with dinner.  I was more than happy to oblige:

WKSU, the public radio station in Kent, had their Fall Fund Drive this past week as well, and as a volunteer, I like to bring in goodies for everybody.  If you've been in Kent, you'll recognize these little fellows (and it wasn't until I uploaded the photos from my camera that I realized how well the fire fighter pictures and these tied in together):

Yes, the leaves behind the black squirrels make them look like they are on fire.  Please note: no cookies were burnt in the making of these delectable goodies.

Out of Town

We will be out of town starting Saturday October 9th and returning Saturday October 16th.  We look forward to bringing some sweetness to your lives when we return, rested and ready to bake!

Fall is here!

This week, we tried a new recipe for our sugar cookies, a spice sugar cookie.  Made with cinnamon, nutmeg, clove & ginger, it smells and tastes heavenly!  Here are the autumn leaves and pumpkins we made with the new recipe:

This new flavor is seasonal and will only be offered from now until Thanksgiving.  We still have our regular flavor available as well.  When you place your order, please specify 'regular' or 'spice.'

Glitches gone and cookies to show!

Our technical difficulties have been resolved and clicking on the link on the 'Ordering' page will send your order to us without a hitch.  We also created two very different batches of cookies this week.  One was a 'Just Because' order of Grateful Dead-inspired cookies, and one was a 3rd Birthday order with a 'Dora The Explorer' theme.  Check them out!
